- Perform tests and, if necessary, approval from an endocrinologist for surgery
- Perform abdominal and pelvic ultrasound (sonography) for men
- Bilateral abdominal, pelvic, and breast ultrasound (sonography) for women under 40 and mammography (instead of breast ultrasound) for women over 40
